Our Youth Matter!

Better Off Independent LLC was born out of a love for our youth and a desire to strengthen their opportunities in the future. With the ever changing certainty of education being sufficient within our school system, we must take responsibility for the outcome of our children’s education.

The removal of programs from the schools such as shop, home economics, and other vocational programs that offered hands on learning and experience prior to graduation, it left our children shorted from experiences that could no longer be financially supported within the school.

There is a greater barrier placed on those coming out of college to find those that are established willing to pass on their knowledge to ensure the next generation is just as skilled, if not more prepared for the working world as an intern.

Better Off Independent means to create a pipeline to stability rather than a pipeline to prison. We seek to provide those opportunities to our youth in middle and high school to begin the exposure to a variety of industries and businesses, giving them the experiences they need to make better decisions for their future!

We also seek to support them going into and coming out of college and vocational trade schools! We support interns, apprenticeships, and vocational graduates!
